About

Hi! I’m a UX designer with a background in occupational therapy. I previously worked as an OT where I became interested in design and how it shapes the experience for any type of user and how inclusive it has evolved.

Using both my expertise in the healthcare field and my journey as a UX designer, I’m able to use a human centered design approach that creates digital solutions that solve any user’s pain points. I apply this during research and usability testing to create new features or enhance existing features.

My time being an OT was extremely rewarding and gratifying. I worked endlessly with different populations, diagnoses and settings where my main goals revolved my client’s goals. I developed skills that allowed me to empathize and understand how each individual is different and how to tailor each of my treatment plans to better fit each person.

I’ve always been interested in how technology has been impacting our lives and especially in the healthcare space. And over time, my desire to learn more kept growing so I took the plunge and pivoted to careers as a UX designer. It was a huge risk - but hey, as they say, “nothing great comes without risk”, so I’m excited for this next path in life :)
